I have been using these over winter sets for years and have always had good crops even after hard winters. This year I gave sets to fellow plotters and they have had some very good results with a few going to seed after a hot dry Spring. We will be using them again
I have used this variety for years and as long as they are not planted in places where water collects result are good with large bulbs. I recommend.
Having tried spring planting onion without much success I then tried these Autumn planting onion which were the envy of our allotment, large and appear to be storing well.
