Not everyone has a large garden, an allotment, a vegetable plot to grow vegetables.
That doesn’t mean you can’t still grow a few home-grown, fresh vegetables when you want them. If you have room for a pot, grow bag, or even a window box.of any size then there is nothing to stop you from having a go at growing your own.

I have been using these over winter sets for years and have always had good crops even after hard winters. This year I gave sets to fellow plotters and they have had some very good results with a few going to seed after a hot dry Spring. We will be using them again

I have used this variety for years and as long as they are not planted in places where water collects result are good with large bulbs. I recommend.

Having tried spring planting onion without much success I then tried these Autumn planting onion which were the envy of our allotment, large and appear to be storing well.

So pleased that we grew these onions over winter as they have out-performed our summer onions significantly. Large, clean onions produced from all sets planted. Second year using Simplyseed onion sets, just about to place order for next year.
