Mange Tout Pea Shiraz is a good quality snow pea with a difference! Shiraz produces good yields of purple coloured mange tout pods typically 9cm long.

Great in salads and stir-frys, but can lose their colour when cooked.

Sow seeds in 2 or 3 batches at intervals during the growing season to ensure a continuous supply of young mange tout pods.

Grew well no fuss. The purple colour is very handy - easy to make sure you spot them / pick them at your chosen size. The taste is good (though perhaps not great) but the pods a little tough. I took to letting them grow and shelling. Sweet Horizon were better as Mange Tout
