A good quality non-hybrid variety, which if sown in late June or early July, will give a succession of cropping from September onwards. Grows medium to tall in height with erect foliage. Produces round white bulbs with thick crispy scales that have excellent flavour.
Tolerant of short frosts down to -5C. But longer periods will cause to bolt.
Best sown direct as doesn't like roots being disturbed.
