Swede Seeds

Swede, or the Swedish turnip as it sometimes known, is a very popular root vegetable related to the brassica family, which includes cabbages, sprouts and cauliflower. It is in many ways similar to a turnip and is used in much the same way for cooking. However swede makes an excellent side dish and is delicious served mashed on its own or mixed with carrots. Swede have a relatively long growing season, which can be as longs as 6 months.
