Gemson produces lots of small firm potatoes with that have always performed well in tasting tests. Bred for, and best grown and lifted as a 'new' potato and for salads, they perform well in bags or in the allotment..
Tubers have a slightly waxy texture and are most suitable for boiling or eaten hot or cold in salads. On the whole Gemson has good all-round disease resistance.
