Calabrese Marathon is a highly reliable variety producing small evenly sized buds with good bud colour.The deep well formed heads have excellent flavour. After harvesting the head, keep growing the plant as spears are produced in abundance.
Marathon is suitable for early and late sowings, as well as for maincrop and matures after 75-95 days depending on sowing time. It is tolerant to Downy Mildew and is a NIAB listed variety.
