Lacking in flavour

I usually grow Scarlet Emperor runners, but thought I would give these a try.
They grew excellently but are almost completely tasteless, which came as a complete disappointment.
I shall go back to Scarlet Emperor, whose flavour make them among my top favourite vegetables.

It is difficult to go wrong with the red flower bean varieties as long as you allow the seedlings to become robust. These are sure to make your vegetable plot efforts seem worthwhile..
