The main daffodil species native to Britain, known as the Lent Lily. This particular species is also suited to growing on rocky ground, grasslands and in woods where shade is common.
The original native Daffodil of Britain which was referred to by the famous poet William Wordsworth. This must not be confused with the giant headed hybrids we have grown used to. The Tenby Daffodil is much smaller, reaching only a height of 30 cm. It is lemon yellow in colour and it can be left to naturalise as it has done in Britain for hundreds of years.
