Mayan Gold Seed Potatoes

Mayan Gold potatoes are the first of the "Phureja" potatoes from Peru to be grown in the UK. They have a floury texture and make excellent roast or chipped potatoes, and can also be used for mash, but are best steamed for this.

The long oval tubers are a golden colour with a nutty flavour, and becoming popular with many top restaurants.

Note: Mayan Gold potatoes cook have a faster cooking time to other varieties.
