Sweetcorn Swift is one of the new Xtra tender types. It Is a 1st early variety with similar performance to Earlibird and produces heavy cobs with 16-18 rows of golden kernels, with a near length of approximately 19cm. It is highly recommended.
Along with Earlibird, this is probably the best variety to grow in most UK situations, as it has early maturity, as well as superb taste and texture.
Swift can usuually be picked from end August onwards, and has good holding ability, so you can pick the cobs over several weeks. Best used as soon as picked for best flavour.
