Pack of 1, commercial grade Garlic Bulb: Picardy WightPicardy Wight is a softneck type garlic, originating in the fields of Picardy, growing on the battlefields of the Somme and the surrounding area. It is well adapted to cooler and wetter conditions, and will grow anywhere in the UK that has proved a challenge to other garlic. In its native region it is plaited and smoked due to its longevity.Harvested after mid July it will keep to May the following year.
The Picardy white was my best crop this year, a very cold and wet year as we all know. The bulbs were by far the biggest and there was less rust than all the others.Highly recommendedMick B
